Our team focuses on dragonflies and damselflies, including their genetics, biodiversity, conservation, and ecology. We use them as an ideal and universal group of bioindicators. Specifically, we study the impacts of human activities on aquatic environments, where their larvae live, as well as on terrestrial environments, where adults are active. Our research takes place both in the laboratory and in the field. Geographically, we focus mainly on European fauna, but the area in which we work is much broader, without exaggeration ranging from Japan to French Guiana.
